PCOS is a multifactorial hormonal disorder affecting 5% to 10% women in reproductive age group. PCOS can be controlled with exercise diet modification and medication.

Ovulation inducing agent LETROZOLE/CLOMIPHENE CITRATE with insulin sensitizer help PCOS patients to conceive. If this fails low dose gonadotropin alone or in combination with LETROZOLE/CLOMIPHENE CITRATE is used. Ovarian drilling is used in rare cases. If all the above fails IVF/ICSI with frozen embryo transfer, to avoid OHSS. Success rate in PCOS patients at our unit is 100% .

Exceptional cases need MIST (mitochondrial spindle transfer).
